Helloo everybuhdeeeeeeee. This is a supremely overdue post and I apologize sincerely for that!!! And I've been having lessons and homework lately... Plus I've been addicted to Candy Crush :/ And an even weirder game called Battle Cats. Please don't download those apps to play if you dislike such games! I'm just bo liao like this T__T
Okay let me get started as I need to bring my lil pup for grooming soon!
Here's the LMS Spotlight!
This is how the box look like, I was sent all three for reviewing but if I were to put all the boxes here it would be... Long. So here's a picture of the biggest box of the biggest LMS spotlight lollol.
Firstly, those who have never seen this before would probably ask what a LMS Spotlight is. Guess what? That's the number 1 question on their Q&A! So I've taken some questions that I feel most of you would ponder about and put it here.
"Q. What are LMS Spotlights?
A. They are an innovative luxury skincare range that uses Red Light Therapy (RLT), a natural and safe skin treatment proven to clear spots fast.
Q. What is Red Light Therapy?
A. Red Light Therapy (RLT) is the application of red light to the skin, originally developed for NASA. It is a safe, natural wavelength used in skin treatment that is clinically proven and medically tested to treat mild to moderate acne and spots.
Q. How long will it take to heal my spots?
A. LMS Spotlights start working from the first treatment. They increase the body's natural healing process to clear spots twice as fast. Users of LMS Spotlights find that spots can clear in as little as 24 hours."
- Taken from LMS Spotlight Q&A page.
I would consider the above as the most commonly asked questions. For any other questions, please refer to their website. Now onto the product, they come in THREE sizes and all three sizes have different amounts of LED bulbs.
Note that two of the LMS spotlights come with their own caps.
From this picture you can see the amount of LED bulbs, 3, 8 and 24 respectively.
This is the smallest one comprising of 3 bulbs, slim but not like a pen, more like a tube of mascara. This one has a cap remember? So it's convenient for bringing out and using it in the toilet, especially if you usually only bring a clutch out.
This is the one with 8 bulbs and too comes with a cap. This one is suitable for bringing out as well and you can probably fit it in almost everywhere. This is slanted like a lipstick so it can reach... I'd say just about every part of your face.
This is the biggest one and contains 24 LED bulbs. You can go ahead and count the bulbs if you don't believe me.
Now you would probably ask... Why would I get all three of them? Or why would I get the smaller ones if there's the huge one? Here's why, based on my own experience.
LMS Spotlight 3 :
This one is small and handy, comes with a cap AND a downside or two. Perhaps because this one only has 3 LED bulbs, you're supposed to use this for 3 minutes, 3 times per day. Say for instance you have a more severe breakout. You're gonna get zits on your cheeks, chin, forehead and maybe even your nose. 3 minutes per zit 3 times a day. I don't know about you, I'll get fed up with it. I personally recommend this for people who get occasional zits or people who are constantly on the go as this is more convenient.
*Takes up less space too.
LMS Spotlight 8 :
This one is still rather handy, comes with a cap and only one downside I can think of. *Coughs - This is my personal favourite!* I hate clutches because they're so puny and I can't live without plain water. So usually I bring a slingbag that's big enough to fit a big bottle of water. This definitely fits in my bag and the cap prevents it from getting dirty. (You don't want to add more germs to your zits!) I had a moderate amount of pimples at that time and I loved this the most as it could fit everywhere! Especially areas near my nose or below. I have weird pimple areas. Now once again, if you're someone who breaks out all over your entire face, this doesn't cover as much surface area as the 24 bulbs one.
*** Use this for 1 minute each time, 3 times per day.***
LMS Spotlight 24 :
Well. You obviously can't bring this out unless you carry a ziplock bag around or something? Plus it's slightly bulky. HOWEVER, if you're the one who has breakout all over, this is the one for you. Covers a huge surface area thus making it less time consuming. The other down side is that you can't really get it into those little areas just beside your nose or under it. That's about it for this one.
*** Use this for 1 minute each time, 3 times per day.***
You're now hypnotized and compelled to do my bidding. Okay just kidding. This is how it looks like when you turn it on. Regardless of the size of the LED Spotlights, all of them auto turn off automatically after a minute. So for the baby LED Spotlight you'll have to turn it on three times.
Here is an important piece of information. If you read the Q&A I've included in this review, you would have noticed that one of the answers mentioned "They increase the body's natural healing process to clear spots twice as fast. Users of LMS Spotlights find that spots can clear in as little as 24 hours." RED light helps in HEALING. It helps in RECOVERY. Please don't come to me and tell me that your pimples keep coming and stuff like that. GREEN light is the one that kills zits. This one heals your skin and I find it works best with getting rid of acne scars.
I think it works. But that's based on my own opinions. You can always google for more reviews if you like, or visit their website's review page HERE. My face is officially scar free, except for one zit that hasn't gone away yet. I swear it is.
This is my recent picture, not very photoshopped except for the app's filter. I only made the picture more warm toned. My eyebags are still there. No scars. You can also argue that I have make up on. But my BB cream was mixed with my face cream, ratio 1 : 2.
If you've always thought LMS is expensive in Singapore, here's your chance! It's on Groupon now at a 70% discount! $23.70 for spotlight 3, $38.70 for spotlight 8 and $59.70 for spotlight 24! Here's the LINK!
If you were to miss this deal, I guess you can still get it at Guardian for the full price though :/
Love,
Domo

Good morning everyone~~~ It is now 1AM.
While traversing across the Lush land of this fantastical world, we rode on the backs of adorable sharks and met with other journeymen. Apparently they had this ancient culture of exchanging cards with weird runes and numbers on them. (One of the symbols was this squibbly '@'.) When we returned to our abode, we immediately proceeded to craft one of our own.
Lo and behold, this is our marvelous (or so I do say myself) result:
We simply must put this new creation of ours to the test. Should any of you cross swords with us, we would be happy to engage in this weird exchange of runes with you.
Engarde, honorable adventurers, until we meet again,

Product Review : JustUme Fiber Plum
Annyeonggggg~~~ I'm so sleepy right now but I must finish this post!
So. For the first time. I'm reviewing a product that MIGHT somehow cause weight loss ;D How many of you have eaten too much over the holidays? AND, CNY is coming next month! We all love food right? We still wanna eat right?
Here's a solution! (I can't assure you that it'll work 100%)
Introducting the JustUme Fiber Plum!
JustUme Fiber Plum (comes in a fruit/plum form) is targeted for digestion and inner cleansing (promote bowel movement). Made of Japanese Umeboshi Plum, Probiotics and Plants extract, JustUme is a natural choice for those people for experience constipation, poor digestion, bloating, gas, bad breath, poor complexion, water retention and weak immunity. Result can be seen within 1-2 days and it is natural.
At this point I'd like to add, do NOT consume this if you are going out after your meal. Unless you are positive that there's always a toilet available for your comfortable usage.
Here's all the nutrition info but I'm not really a healthy living kinda person and I can't really comprehend this :/
The plum comes packaged individually so you can bring this out or overseas easily. If you're going home after a meal outside, take this with ease as it does not activate its magical powers so soon.
Yeap. That's it. It's a plum that's covered in some powder on the outside. I believe the powder makes it tastes bitter though. However when you finish eating the powder covered part it's just a sourish and slightly sweet plum. It's quite big though so chew through it slowly!
Now why did I say it MIGHT help in weight loss? It really really aids in digestion! It works somewhat like the slimming tea that causes you to run to the toilet a few minutes later but SLOWER. And all natural! Personally I've found that my own body takes 4 hours or so to feel the toilet urge. It comes on as a gradual tummyache before you realize that you MUST find the toilet or you'll explode. I recommend doing the business at home as you will let out quite an amount of gas.
I can't say for sure if it'll help you shed a lot of pounds but it kept my weight in check over the days I've consumed it while having hearty meals. If you're constipated, this will help you for sure.
Is this a must buy? If you're someone looking to lose weight, I'd still recommend the exercise + eat less but healthily kinda way instead of using this product. If you're someone who's comfortable with your weight but have big meals once in a while, you can take this to prevent your weight from rising I suppose. And if you're constipated, do try it :D
Please note that the above paragraph is based on my own assumptions luh. Except for the constipated part, this will definitely help you poo.
I can't really rate this product but it does what it claims to do thus it's a 5 star? Also I don't know the price of this item so you'll have to check it out yourself!
Love,
Domo

Product Review : Mac Ravishing Lipstick
Hello hello, I've scheduled this post for the afternoon so good afternoon everyone! It's midnight now and I'm trying to finish this post before I go to bed.
I finally have a cosmetic product review up for you~~~ = 3 =
Now please don't bother about the dust T__T My table is EXTREMELY messy and I can't help if some dust gets on something once in awhile. I actually tried wiping the dust of but... Well...
Introducing the Mac Ravishing Lipstick! (Cremesheen finish) I was a crazy fan of Mac before I started loving the Jap and Korea cosmetics so I acquired this lipstick via their recycling program. Return 6 Mac empties to get 1 new lippie.
Here's the lipstick! I've used it a few times prior to taking the picture so pardon the weird markings too.
Here's a swatch of it on my arm.
And my ugly lip x 2. As you can see, this is not the glossiest or most moisturizing lipstick in the world. You can see all of my lip lines, even when I smile you can see that it's uneven! The color is more true on my arm, a muted peachy orangey shade.
The lipstick doesn't really go on smoothly so for dry lips, this isn't something you would like. It's not flattering at all for people with lips like mine so I would advice one to use lipbalm under and lipgloss over so your lips would look juicy and moisturized.
I've not bought Mac lippies in awhile but I believe this is 29sgd..?

Moist Chocolate Brownie Recipe
A while back (a few months back, in fact), Domo and I attempted to bake together. This was one of the only things that turned out well. Actually, I'd even dare say it's pretty decent despite its simplicity, given that my mom actually stole my portion away in the stealth of the night (okay, maybe not that sneakily), and I managed only to eat two of the dozen that I had.
The recipe was from Domo's cousin, and it's relatively simple to understand. Even if you are an amateur like us, I think it should be quite easy to follow. If you do recreate the recipe, do let us know about the result!
1 cup/ 200g sugar (or 160g if you're not so much a sweet-tooth)
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
2 eggs
½ cup/ 60g flour
1/3 cup/ 40g cocoa powder
¼ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt (omit if using salted butter)
nuts (optional, we didn't use any because Domo prefers them without)
2. In a medium bowl, stir together the butter, sugar, and vanilla.
3. Add eggs, and beat well.
4. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
5. Gradually add to egg mixture, beating until blended.
6. Stir in nuts, if desired.
7. Fill the muffin cups. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
(Bake for shorter time [12-13 min] to get a very moist and warm cupcake.)
8. Let them set for about 5-10 minutes.
The recipe was from Domo's cousin, and it's relatively simple to understand. Even if you are an amateur like us, I think it should be quite easy to follow. If you do recreate the recipe, do let us know about the result!
Ingredients:
(Makes 1 8x8 pan or about 16 cupcakes)
½ cup/ 110g (1 stick) butter, melted (unsalted)1 cup/ 200g sugar (or 160g if you're not so much a sweet-tooth)
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
2 eggs
½ cup/ 60g flour
1/3 cup/ 40g cocoa powder
¼ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt (omit if using salted butter)
nuts (optional, we didn't use any because Domo prefers them without)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350˚F/ 180 degree Celsius. Grease a mini muffin pan with cooking spray.2.
Step by Step Process:
Firstly, gather all the ingredients...
We used real vanilla extract here, but the cheaper variety would work fine as well.
Do not confuse with Baking Soda, which is pure Sodium Bicarbonate. Baking Powder contains Sodium Bicarbonate AND an acidifying agent (such as cream of tartar). Though the former might work (since chocolate is contained in the recipe, and is a mild acidifying agent), it may not produce the best results.
Eggs and butter (plus salt if using unsalted butter) not shown, as they were in the fridge. Depending on how fast your oven heats up, you may want to preheat the oven at this stage.
Measure and mix the butter, sugar and vanilla essence together.
The consistency would be quite rough because of the sugar at first, and creamy/ sticky after the butter is melted and mixed in.
Measure the rest of the ingredients and gradually beat the eggs in.
It would make the consistency of the mixture quite runny at this stage.
Add in the rest of the stuff. Sieve the flour if it's too clumpy.
Try not to eat the dough up when the chocolate is mixed in. (Difficulty level: high)
We didn't use the metal muffin trays because we hadn't invested in one yet, but do use it if you have it so the shape holds better. Timing differs according to how hot your oven is and so on.
We didn't bake it for very long because both of us love the moist type of brownies. The brownies go really well with vanilla ice-cream too. Enjoy while it's hot~!
Happy eating!

Product Review : Lush Cynthia Sylvia Stout Shampoo
Hello my lovely Domokies! Most of you are probably in Lalaland now but I usually blog better in a quiet environment at night so... Here I am :D With a review.
Now I actually meant to do up a lipstick review but I found these pictures that I edited before changing laptops and since they're with the old watermark design, I'll post them up first.
TODAY'S PRODUCT!
Lush Cynthia Sylvia Stout shampoo~~~ (I have the 500g one but was too lazy to photograph it again :x)
LUSH SG says
"Condition, body and shine for wavy, fluffy and frizzy hair. Cynthia Sylvia Stout is made with stout beer, which your great-grandmother probably used to make her hair shine. Stout contains protein and gives hair weight, smoothness and gloss. Excellent for hair which goes frizzy in the damp, Cynthia Sylvia Stout smells delicious, like a brandy, stout and lemon cocktail, and even makes curly hair shiny." - Taken from Lush SG website HERE.
*Coughs coughs* I believe you all know how to use shampoo so lets skip this picture.
Here's the ingredients list and I'm actually surprised when I first saw it. I didn't expect stout to be the first ingredient on the list!
Anywayz, here's my thought on this product.
I was given a sample when I headed into the store one day to ask for a shampoo that works on really frizzy dry hair. I took a whiff of this sample when I got home and I was like PHEWWWWWWW. I'm not a fan of stout or any alcoholic drinks so this smelt... Pretty bad to me. I absolutely hated the scent and was super fearful that the scent would linger long in my hair.
Upon using it in the shower, I could finally catch whiffs of the lemon! Also it somehow reminded me of cinnamon. If some of you hate shampoos that don't foam well like *coughs-blousey-coughs*, rest assured that this lathers fine as long as you're not too stingy with the amount you use. While waiting for my hair to dry, I became addicted to the scent :/ Don't ask me why or how but it was less pungent and the scent felt strangely soothing and warm. LIKE CINNAMON! Me likey~
As for the smooth hair part, it doesn't work if I use this without a conditioner. I must must absolutely must use conditioner with any shampoo I use or my hair will be like a haystack. After pairing my conditioner with CSS, my hair did feel smoother and less frizzy. Also, I thought I smelt heavenly :x
Deng deng deng, it comes down to the price again. You can purchase a 500ml bottle of this CSS for a whopping $48 from Lush SG /.\ It's actually only £14.20 if you were to get it from the UK. Given the current exchange rate, it adds up to $28.40. If you were to spree it in, shipping is definitely below $20... So I'll leave the choice up to you whether it's better to wait and get it at a lower price or if it's better to get it quickly to your convenience at a marked up price.
I'm off to schedule another post before I go catch some zzz!
Love,
Domo
