Product Review : JustUme Fiber Plum

Annyeonggggg~~~ I'm so sleepy right now but I must finish this post!

So. For the first time. I'm reviewing a product that MIGHT somehow cause weight loss ;D How many of you have eaten too much over the holidays? AND, CNY is coming next month! We all love food right? We still wanna eat right?

Here's a solution! (I can't assure you that it'll work 100%)

Introducting the JustUme Fiber Plum!

JustUme Fiber Plum (comes in a fruit/plum form) is targeted for digestion and inner cleansing (promote bowel movement). Made of Japanese Umeboshi Plum, Probiotics and Plants extract, JustUme is a natural choice for those people for experience constipation, poor digestion, bloating, gas, bad breath, poor complexion, water retention and weak immunity. Result can be seen within 1-2 days and it is natural.

At this point I'd like to add, do NOT consume this if you are going out after your meal. Unless you are positive that there's always a toilet available for your comfortable usage.

Here's all the nutrition info but I'm not really a healthy living kinda person and I can't really comprehend this :/

The plum comes packaged individually so you can bring this out or overseas easily. If you're going home after a meal outside, take this with ease as it does not activate its magical powers so soon.

Yeap. That's it. It's a plum that's covered in some powder on the outside. I believe the powder makes it tastes bitter though. However when you finish eating the powder covered part it's just a sourish and slightly sweet plum. It's quite big though so chew through it slowly!

Now why did I say it MIGHT help in weight loss? It really really aids in digestion! It works somewhat like the slimming tea that causes you to run to the toilet a few minutes later but SLOWER. And all natural! Personally I've found that my own body takes 4 hours or so to feel the toilet urge. It comes on as a gradual tummyache before you realize that you MUST find the toilet or you'll explode. I recommend doing the business at home as you will let out quite an amount of gas.

I can't say for sure if it'll help you shed a lot of pounds but it kept my weight in check over the days I've consumed it while having hearty meals. If you're constipated, this will help you for sure.

Is this a must buy? If you're someone looking to lose weight, I'd still recommend the exercise + eat less but healthily kinda way instead of using this product. If you're someone who's comfortable with your weight but have big meals once in a while, you can take this to prevent your weight from rising I suppose. And if you're constipated, do try it :D

Please note that the above paragraph is based on my own assumptions luh. Except for the constipated part, this will definitely help you poo.

I can't really rate this product but it does what it claims to do thus it's a 5 star? Also I don't know the price of this item so you'll have to check it out yourself!

Product Review : Mandom Fusain Facial Wash

Hello my dearest Domokies! Apologies for the long-time-no-update! I was sick yesterday so my world was spinning! Thus no update! Then the day before that, I had to do stuff for my potential dream job! It's like super close now. Inches away from it, simply awaiting confirmation~

I've promised someone quite a long time ago to do a scrub recommendation. Here's one, my absolute favorite.

I don't think a lot of people know about this. This was a super random buy by my mother one day while she was out shopping. Mandomcorp has a line of make up removers too if I'm not wrong, the anti aging one, oil control blah blah. This however was hidden away at little beauty shops in the neighborhood!

Here's the description, take note of the special features because they work!!!

Honestly, I don't know half the stuff on the list but what I know is, my mom like Ringo, has super sensitive skin. She absolutely adored it. So most people should be fine with this facial wash/scrub unless you're really allergic to any of the ingredients?

Here's a blob of the product! It's greyish black and a little strange looking.

Can you spot those little black + white beads? If you squint even further, there are really even smaller greyish beads in the facial wash!

Foams up pretty beautifully. Not sure if you can tell but the foam's not all pure white, it's actually a really light shade of grey too.

I'm not sure how many of you have used this but my family <3 this! We've used like at least 10 tubes of this :) The scrubbing beads, though of different sizes, are really small so it really doesn't hurt at all on your face! At the same time while this is on your face, you'll be feeling a cool minty sensation that I find awesome in the mornings.

I recommend using this once a day because even though the beads are gentle, you don't want to over exfoliate the skin! Personally, I like this in the mornings because after the slight exfoliation, the skin will be slightly brighter and more prepped for make up! Everything will go on smoother, even skincare~ So that means? Yes, really clean feeling skin! Fresh, invigorating sensation check! If I'm not wrong, my skin was pretty acne free while using this too ^________^

This smells awesome to me despite the fact that it's not fruity or flowery. It's a menthol kinda scent, more manly than girly but it pleases me. Very calming yet fresh! Best of all, this scrub costs ONLY $4.50 at Watsons! Yea they finally brought it in! If you want it even cheaper, the neighborhood beauty shops sometimes sell these for $4 ONLY!!! Like mega cheap much? You only need a little to foam up so one tube, $4/$4.50 goes a superbly long way.

I say? AWESOME MUST GET.

The ratings? ★ ★ ★ ★ ★!!! For sure, you don't need to know more. FIVE GOLDEN STARS from me!

Product Review : Vichy Thermal Spa Water

A few days ago, I blogged about the Vichy's Spa Water and 80th Anniversary workshop. I recommended ya'all to purchase THIS on Domokie's FB page.

Yes, that's the normal packaging for the Vichy Thermal Spa Water I tried at the workshop. And you all should know this. I used to think that such water spray thingies are like some kinda scam, it's like asking us to pay for a spray with water in it. Before I thought of such water sprays as scams, I bought a few and tested them out. To me, those were just water. I didn't see any effect at all so yes, for the rest of my life, I classified them as plain water.

However, after attending the Vichy workshop and trying it out...

I bought it!!! I bought the limited edition packaging one so it looks different from the first picture. Now the best thing to prove that I love and recommend a product is when I buy it after testing it. This is now my 神奇水, AKA my newly found Miracle water. Before I start babbling more, let's take a look at the usual, ingredients list!

Yea... Once again I recall my previous thinking of the plain water spray thing...

Not just the plain water you can get from your tap ;) I know the difference now, this water actually has heaps of minerals that our skin requires!

This water's actually from a Spring in a town called Vichy. Here's a continuation for the cool facts! Cool fact #3, the Spring from which this water is drawn from has been declared a public health spring in 1846! Vichy is like... A really really ancient and old grandparent. This miracle water is 100% natural of course, from the spring itself and EFFECTIVE at the same time! I myself have seen some strange special effects when using this so I'm about to share it.

This water is what I call, 万能. Super multi-purpose.

Ta-da! So many uses~ But I have one more to show you and that's my absolute favorite!

Also, I will not be telling you what Vichy says because for stats and info, you can ask from the BA working at the counter. Sharing my experience is a different thing.

My favorite way to use this is as a mask. You'll have to get your own compressed mask from SASA though.

There's no before picture but can you believe that this was taken at about 8pm, after 8 hours of work excluding travelling time? I've had my make up on since around 7am in the morning and it's been more than 12 hours. This is what sparked me to get this can of miracle water.

Also, I did not blot my face before taking this picture or prior to using the mask. It ALL magically DISAPPEARED. There was no cakiness, no nothing, except for my blush being somewhat eaten away. My face was super bright too. Catherine saw the difference too, so I swear you have to do it to witness it for yourself.

I did a mini test the next morning, I woke up with a mega greasy face and proceeded to spritz a good amount of this miracle water all over my face. I then waited for about 10-15 seconds before dabbing it off with a tissue. Guess what? I became shine free! I was super amazed so I told Ringo, which was why she suggested drinking this after eating a heavy meal to get rid of the oils. This water is sweet too =) It can be drunk but I don't think you'd wanna spend your money just to drink this. NOT that I intentionally spritz this in my mouth, I accidentally sprayed on too much one day and it trickled into my mouth =/

We were not sponsored the 150ml set, Ringo, Catherine and I bought a set each though. Our actions speak a lot louder than this post. I'm not sure if this limited packaging set is still available but I think the normal one is, so get one from your nearest Vichy counter today :) It is that good! Besides, it costs only 14.90 for two cans of this if I'm not wrong, so why not try it out once?

Scent: No scent detected.

Texture: Like how your water would feel.

Product Review : MEISHOKU Detclear Fruits Bright & Peel Peeling Jelly

ALL OF YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR IT!!! I've had people tell me before that CURE aqua gel is SUPER expensive, it retails at $42 if you didn't know. They asked me for alternatives, I had none. Now I've finally found one, recommended to me by Tsuriki! Thanks <3~

MEISHOKU Detclear Fruits Bright & Peel Peeling Jelly! The packaging is sooooo cheerful isn't it? So bright, colorful and summery! It looks like fruit punch. I chose the one with mixed fruit fragrance but there's also a berry fragrance one available. This is where it is unlike CURE, CURE is fragrance free so sensitive skin might wanna do a patch test first. I personally think this is very mild, just like CURE but then again I don't have sensitive skin. We'll wait for Ringo to try this and we'll know how extremely sensitive skin reacts to this!

Here's the ingredients list for ya'all!

Gets rid of very SURFACE blackheads only, not the hard, deep set kind. Increase our skin's turnover rate for more boing boing healthy new skin!!! Get rids of melanin and sebum for brighter looking skin!

Ta dang! Looks like CURE right? Kay here's the CURE Review to remind you if you've forgotten! It's a little more milky than CURE though.

Effects wise... Ready?

Feast your eyes on...

MY DEAD SKIN CELLS. Okay not a nice feast. It removes the dead skin cells just like CURE!

But then again, if it's just the fragrance part that's different, shouldn't it be 99% similar to CURE? Sadly no. CURE's a little more concentrated so two pumps will suffice for my entire fat face. This however requires THREE pumps. Personally I don't mind because I love using products that smell great. Do note that CURE seems a little more potent though because more dead skin cells SEEM to come off when I'm using it on my face as opposed to the Detclear one. I have almost zero product loyalty and rotate around all the time! I stuck with CURE because nothing seemed the same but now that I've found a replacement... Heh ;) I also did not experience any tightness after using just this.

I chose this over the Berry one because the scent of this really resembles jelly. Remember the jelly we used to eat while we were still *coughs* young? The triangular shaped one that looks like this.

Smells almost the same and it's like stuffing your face into a bowl of such jellies!!! Really yummilicious and fruitilicious and enjoyable!!!

See my beautifully brightened and smooth hands!!! (Self praise) Okay to be honest your skin will definitely become brighter and softer because those scaly dead skin cells have been removed! I must ALWAYS emphasize that EVERYONE MUST EXFOLIATE THEIR SKIN, regardless of skin type! I don't care if your skin is sensitive / dry / oily / combination. If you don't exfoliate, all your dead skin cells are just gonna build up layer by layer till they're like brick walls on your face. When that happens, all your skincare will not get absorbed properly so you might as well leave your face to die!!!

Here's the proper steps to exfoliating!

1. Wet face
2. Lather with your usual facial foam
3. Pat your face DRY (IMPORTANT)
4. Apply 2-3 pumps all over your dry face.
5. Rub in circular motions gently and wait for all the whitish jelly to appear
6. Wash it off
7. Pat dry again
8. MUST continue with usual skincare routine!

I've had people ask me if they can just slap it all over their face without proper cleansing. The answer is simple. NO. If you don't wash your face first, all the dirt and yuckies are still on your face. So while exfoliating, instead of really removing your dead skin, you are merely removing the dirt that was originally on your face. Then what's the point of exfoliating?

Also, it is extremely important to continue with a good skincare routine because our skin's more tender after exfoliating and must be protected properly. You'll want the soft skin to stay wouldn't you? Personally I recommend masking immediately after exfoliating for super awesome absorption of the goodies.

If you hate to fork out a whopping $42 for CURE, you might want to give this a shot. You can get this from Blingalways for $20.90! Or if you really can't wait, you can head down to your nearest SASA and get this for $22.90~

Affordability : ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (Chip chip cheap!)

Texture : ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (Light and jelly-ish, spreads well.)

Overall : ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (4.8 actually, 0.2 off because of the slightly less effective part. Otherwise all's good!)

Product Review : My Beauty Diary Chocolate Truffle Sheet Mask (我的美丽日记松露巧克力面膜)

Yummy yummy yummy. I love all things that smell pleasant to me! Especially when products start smelling like food... It's like the best of both worlds for me since I love to eat too!

So today, I'm going to be reviewing something tasty for the skin~

It's like a dream come true! The My Beauty Diary Chocolate Truffle Sheet Mask sounds absolutely delicious and is otherwise known as 我的美丽日记松露巧克力面膜 in Chinese.

As always, the ingredients list for the sensitive skin babes! Yes it does contain added fragrance so do take note! Also, this mask is for moisturizing, firming and softening of the skin.

Everyone says that  if the mask is fake, this will be about 1.5cm to 2cm. I guess mine's genuine because it's only about 1cm?

Oh and I will not be showing you the picture of the mask on my face because it's exactly the same as the picture in the My Beauty Diary Earl Grey & Macaron Sheet Mask review. I'll be jumping directly to the results!

When I first ripped open the mask, the wonderful rich scent of chocolate invaded my nose! Smells really pleasant and most importantly, tasty. Like I could eat it. Okay but I know I can't and none of you should! I definitely prefer this scent over the My Beauty Diary Earl Grey & Macaron Sheet Mask one! Honestly it will vary with individuals as I'm obsessed with food but you might be obsessed with tea.

Please please take note, I did not use photoshop to fake results in any way! I've tried my best at capturing the pictures accurately and all settings are the same. My face is most definitely brighter! The essence is also thick but absorbs extremely quickly, even faster than the My Beauty Diary Earl Grey & Macaron Sheet Mask one if you were to ask me. Firming wise, it is very slight but my skin definitely felt more "boing boing" and QQ afterwards. Very soft and supple! Mind you, I slept in an air conditioned room that night and still woke up with soft skin!

And I might have overused "!!!" again... But that's because I really like the product~ WHICH IS WHY I'm spreeing it in, partly for myself too because I love it! Even if no one supports my spree I'll go ahead and buy many for myself. After all, it's LE!

Texture : ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (Even easier to absorb!)

Effectiveness : ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ (Really soft skin, firming is not very obvious to the naked eye.)

Product Review : My Beauty Diary Earl Grey & Macaron Sheet Mask (我的美丽日记伯爵马卡隆面膜)

YES I'VE BEEN ANTICIPATING THIS POST MYSELF! Okay not really, I didn't look forward to reading this post since I'm the one writing it, I was looking forward to trying the mask! After all, I shouldn't sell things that I don't like! So does this mask live up to it's name on 女人我最大?

The My Beauty Diary Earl Grey & Macaron Sheet Mask! Or otherwise known in Chinese as the 我的美丽日记伯爵马卡隆面膜. I must say I definitely prefer this packaging over those glossy ones. Besides, it's more camera friendly!

Ingredients list! SOOOOOOOO clear right? Because matte is easy to photograph! It's a flat surface too. If you can't read Chinese, the effects of this mask is mainly whitening, brightening and clarifying of the skin.

The essence. When you first rip the mask open, the fragrance of the tea seeps out. Firstly, I know a lot of people will then say that this mask is fake because of how thick the essence looks. However, I don't really believe someone would duplicate a LE mask to sell and you can see the effects of the mask later.

This is the shape of the mask and it looks genuine to me.

This is horrible me with weird pouty mouth shape only when I mask!!! As you can see, the nose portion is a little too small to cover my bulbous nose. Other than that, the mask fit snugly around my big face. It also means that if your face is a lot smaller and slimmer than mine, it will not fit as right.

A close up. Can you see how thin this mask is? I adore it! It still packs a whole lot of essence despite it being so thin and you're supposed to leave this on for 20 minutes.

Ready to see the results???

TA-DANG! Please pardon creepy stare along with ugly eyebags and wrinkles. Please take note of the skin instead! I never photoshop the results okay. You can use the background for reference and my pink headband. Camera settings, lighting, everything was the same. I believe the brightening and whitening is obvious right?

The scent of this mask is all from the Earl Grey Tea. The macarons does not contribute to the scent since they don't really throw macarons into the mask. It's somewhat floral too. But it's so mild and soothing that I dozed off using it! But I woke within 20 minutes cause I was stunned that I dozed off, if that makes sense. I woke up in shock because I thought I slept for hours.

The essence was thick but absorbs really easily into the skin. My skin did feel hydrated and very obviously brightened. I too love this mask, along with it's fragrance and will be spreeing it for myself even if no one wants it! Do note that sensitive skin might just want to try one piece first because there's added fragrance!

Texture : ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (Very easy to absorb)
Brightening : ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ (See pictures~ Though the sexylook one's a little more powerful!)
Scent : ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ (I like the scent but I much prefer fruits over tea/flower)

I love the star ingredient of the SexyLook Extra Brightening Duo Lifting Mask. Feels like I'm masking with jewelries. (Secret dream to do so lol)

These are the ingredients, directions for use and the effects for the SexyLook Extra Brightening Duo Lifting Mask.

I've realized the effects are described to be exactly the same which is why I'll be sharing the effects I've seen on myself to clarify any doubts. I have before and after photos up for comparison so that results are more visible. After all pictures don't lie!

Below are the instructions as to how to put this mask on.

Also if you have a big face  like me, don't be afraid to pull the ear hooks to your ears. The mask is somewhat stretchable. Please stretch gently though! Don't just rip it apart.

Why's the mask 3-D? Very simple. It doesn't only plaster onto our face, it covers our chin / jawline area as well, making it 3-D! It has ear hooks so we can go about doing our daily chores without having to worry about the mask sliding off. It's a little tight on me because of my big face but you can see the pictures for yourself later.

Personally, I don't like to describe mask. I think that talking is nothing and showing the effects are the most important. Truly, I don't really care what kind of expensive ingredients are in the masks, even if it's gold. I just want to see the results!!!

The first mask I tried out, the SexyLook Intensive Firming Duo Lifting Mask.

I think for the lifting effect, it's very slight. You'll definitely need constant usage to see the effects. However this was the very first time I tried this mask and after just one usage, having effects is good enough for me. I've tried masks that made ZERO difference to my face. I'm not very sure if you can see it but the area at my chin is definitely sharper. Something else I noticed was that my skin was slightly brightened after using this mask. It's also rather hydrating and yea, I tried to be a hero again and used NOTHING after this mask. I'm glad to announce that my skin did not shrivel up and die.

This mask has a mild and somewhat floral/fruity fragrance that I found to be quite pleasant. After removing the mask, I had to massage the essence into my skin and it absorbed pretty easily. There was no sticky or oily film on my face.

After trying out the first mask, I tried this out days later! The SexyLook Extra Brightening Duo Lifting Mask~

!!! The difference is SO obvious!!! I swear this is really EXTRA brightening! These two pictures are taken in the same lighting okay? See the pink of my PJs, it's about the same color. And when I use a lot of !!!, it means I really like the product. I did not photoshop to fake the effects okay? I swear. My skin in the before picture is dull and unhappy. The after picture is not only brightened, can you see that it somehow looks very radiant? Happy skin!

For this mask, I couldn't detect any scent. I know it has fragrance in it but I couldn't really smell anything..? The essence for this mask is a little harder to absorb. My face felt somewhat sticky afterwards but you have to be patient and slowly massage it in. The effects are definitely worth it. I'm also proud to say that this mask did moisturize my skin quite well.

This essence is present in both the masks. Different smells and effects but looks the same! Clear colorless liquid.

This is what I look like with the mask on. It makes me look super ugly because it's quite tight around my face. I also refused to have any emotions showing while masking so as to prevent formation of any weird crinkles.

As you can tell from how stretched the mask is, I have a pretty fat face.

This is Taiwan's NUMBER ONE BEST SELLING MASK and it's not just an empty claim. I've bought the masks myself before too and I think that's the best proof already. Actions speak a lot louder than words and pictures too. I've shown the effectiveness of SexyLook Masks and I will continue to use these masks till someone impresses me with something else? Okay I admit, sometimes I stray because I'm attracted to scents as well. And packaging.

Babes with sensitive skin might want to just purchase one piece to try first because these do have added fragrance and I don't want anyone to be allergic/sensitive to the masks after purchasing an entire box.
