Unfortunately there's no ingredients list for this one, because it was sold as a set (7pcs per box).
Unlike most sheet masks, this is interwoven with bamboo charcoal so it's a stark black. No worries though, it won't actually leave black residue on your face. It's surprisingly hydrating despite its appearances because there's hyaluronic acid in it.
The sheet itself is quite thick, and the surface rather big. I have a huge face but even so it's too big for me, though I suppose a bigger mask is better than a smaller one. It's kinda unwieldy though. Because of its weight and size, it tends to slip a little.
How to use: Remove mask from package, discarding the white plastic sheet and applying the sheet mask on your face. Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove and discard mask. Pat the remaining essence into your face with clean fingers -- there's no need to wash off the remaining essence for this one.
Insert random photo of self. Not smiling because... black face. |
Overall it's quite a gentle clarifying mask. Skin doesn't feel overly dry after use, and I didn't have any adverse reactions to it. I think I'd have to try more pieces to really experience the effects though.
Texture: ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ (Fabric a little rougher than your usual masks.)
Fitting: ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆ (Depends on your face shape. A little too wide for me personally.)
Effectiveness: ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆ (Skin feels cleaner after use. Not drying.)
Fragrance: ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ (Not much fragrance. Somewhat like what 'bamboo' would smell like?)
Overall: ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆ (Not as impressive on its own, but perhaps would work well in its range.)
Signing off,
Ringo
