Product Review : Living Nature Rescue Gel

Remember the FACIAL I went for? I couldn't return empty handed so I had to purchase something so I can review it for all my readers!

In Singapore, it's forever warm and humid. We only have Summer and that is one of the reason why a lot of us face ACNE problems. Because we usually have combination skin or oily skin. At the same time, we have people with sensitive skin like Ringo. So, I chose a product that can deal with BOTH.

It's the Living Nature Rescue Gel!

Contains Manuka honey that has healing properties and acts as a natural humectant that draws moisture to the skin! Moisturizes, nourishes, heals, rejuvenates and protects your skin! Sounds like a great ingredient to put in a rescue gel for trouble spots. Of course, I'm not so knowledgeable. I dug up a picture that had the Manuka Honey's brief description from TWOOS.

Once again, the ingredient list for all those who have sensitive skin! A brief description of the product can be seen in the above picture too.

This is the dispenser. I would have very much preferred a pump because that's more convenient to use? I do feel that the semi cylindrical packaging is rather cute though. IDK if I'm actually describing the shape accurately though!

The Rescue Gel comes out looking like that but a little bit more yellowish. It smells somewhat sour but not that overpowering. After application on face, it fades away into something more soothing and not so noticeable. Do note that a little goes a long way and what you see in that picture is more than enough for my entire face!!!

It's of a very lightweight texture and absorbs easily to the skin. There's no stickiness whatsoever and makes my skin very soft too. It makes me feel like slapping it on all over my face. Of course I wouldn't recommend you to do that because this is still meant for trouble spots. It can however sooth any sensitive skin I believe due to the properties of the Manuka Honey.

This gel reduces redness if you have an angry pimple on your face. It also reduces scarring and bumps on the face. By bumps, I mean clogged pores? Those that are super overly clogged and becomes bumpy on your face causing your skin to be ugly. I have to say that this gel saved my skin because I had bumps from me being lazy to cleanse my face properly. Any pimples were soothed and my face is blemish free! I'm a happy girl. I do however still have blackheads and rely deeply on my clay masks.

This product is only available at Living Nature outlets if I'm not wrong and one bottle costs quite a hefty amount. However this product is potent enough and since a little goes a long way, I'd say it's worth your money. I can't remember the price but you can always ask TWOOS!

Scent : ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ (A little too strong for me at first but fades away nicely.)
Texture : ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (Absorbs super quickly into the skin!!!)
Effectiveness : ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (Did I not say blemish free?)
Overall : ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ (I would love to give it a full 5 stars but this product hurts my pocket T__T)

Cheers,

Chiharu ❤

Disclaimer : I purchased this product for reviewing purposes when I went for my facial previously. I am not related to TWOOS or living nature.
